reference to my despatch No. 302 of
May 22nd and previous correspondence on the subject
of the application of the new registration procedure
to and the protection of British subjects of Chinese
origin in china, have the honour to quote the
following extract frm a despatch from Mis Majesty's
Consul at Foochow dealing in general with other
matters:-
